Video Friday this week is a link to the Nike Write the Future commercial, to get people psyched for the World Cup. It’s actually quite awesome, even while being ridiculously long. Check it out!

Also, if somehow you missed it, I will be starting a new position with Sears Holdings starting in June managing social media for the Automotive business unit. There are really cool things happening this summer! Don’t miss them, follow @SearsAuto on Twitter, as well as “like” the Facebook page!

The Mavericks had 10 consecutive 50 win seasons, and according to ESPN, are one of only 4 franchises to accomplish that. Yet the team never won a championship.

In game 3, the referee crew was led by Dan Crawford; with Crawford, the Mavs are now 1-17 in the playoffs. He’s got quite a streak going.

Game Spurs PFs Mavs PFs Final Score
1 20 28 Spurs 94
Mavs 100
2 15 18 Spurs 102
Mavs 88
3 16 25 Mavs 90
Spurs 94
4 20 22 Mavs 89
Spurs 92
5 23 23 Spurs 81
Mavs 103
6 17 27 Mavs 87
Spurs 97

You can draw your own conclusions… other than game 2, where the Mavs were blown out, and game 5, where it was a blow out the other way, did the lopsided calls affect the outcome?

Anyway, for this week’s Video Friday, visit ESPN for the game 6 recap.

Say it ain’t so Joe, say it ain’t so.

I just don’t get it, I thought Skechers were supposed to be “fashion” shoes that tried to be trendy by knocking off more expensive designs. How does fitness and Joe Montana fit in with that image? Leave the fitness to the athletic shoe makers, and maybe Emmitt Smith can help get Joe on a Just for Men commercial or something.
